Born in Newark, he lived in Kearny for many years before moving to East Stroudsburg, Pa., five years ago.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (nee Quinn); his fiancee Jessica Lassiter; daughters Madelyn Lassiter and Layla Byrne; brothers Barry and Christopher; grandmother Margaret Byrne; and aunts and uncles Colleen Quinn Gaynor, Helen Quinn Pastrof, Greg Byrne, Deborah Byrne Torina and Maureen Byrne Brunner.
He is predeceased by his father, Barry, and Clifford, his grandfather.
The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, on Thursday at 9 a.m. A funeral Mass will be offered in St. Stephen’s Church, 141 Washington Ave., Kearny at 10 a.m. Cremation will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
